I-5 Rivals is a project started by David Cummings of Moreland Print, a Vancouver, WA screenprinting and graphic design company.
I am David, and I love my hometown of Portland, OR. I attended Cleveland High School and then I went to college at University of Oregon, Portland State University, and Pacific University, all in Oregon. I moved to Vancouver because this is where I teach high school math, and it turns out that this is a really great little city! While I do really love living in Vancouver and I consider myself a fledgling Washingtonian, I am a true Oregonian and will be until I die.
In the summer of 2013 I married my beautiful wife, Meghaan. She is from Boise, ID, and I have to warn you that you will probably see some Idaho-inspired designs on this site soon. Thank her for that one, because it's all her.
The goal of Moreland Print has always been twofold:
1) Print shirts for cool organizations and businesses;
2) Create our own shirts that celebrate what we love- the Pacific NorthWest.
This project allows us to focus on the latter, and we want to make sure you are the heart and soul of what we do. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please leave us a line here on our CONTACT PAGE.
We understand that you are the driving force behind our company, and we are nothing without you. We keep that in mind with every shirt we print. If it doesn't feel good, you won't wear it. We want you to like what you buy, and we work to make sure it is never a question.
All of the work that goes into your shirt happens here in my shop, by us. The graphic design starts in Vancouver or Portland, and every process from there to packaging the final product happens at Moreland Print. We put our hands on every product we sell. So when you buy our products, you are supporting an American company run by Oregonians and Idahoans living in Washington. That's pretty awesome.
We live by the idea that we are responsible for helping those who cannot help themselves, and a proceed of every shirt we sell goes to charity. If you did not support us, we would not be able to assist these organizations.
Thank you for your support; you are the reason we do this.
