Oregon No.33 Tank

Tank tops are a funny thing. They're the most comfortable shirts when it's hot, but I feel the least comfortable when I wear one in public. But to be fair, I've really lived up to the "dad bod" thing since our daughter was born a year and a half ago, so it isn't the shirt's fault.

That being said, I have a feeling you'll look fabulous in this beautiful Bella Canvas tank. Just between me and you, I have worn mine 10 out of the last 15 days under my other shirt, this tie dyed joint that I've worn so many days in a row that my mom calls me out on Facebook for it. If I can pull it off, you can too.

This shirt features white American-made ink printed on a super-soft dark heather Bella 3480 52/48 Cotton/Poly Unisex Jersey Tank (sizing HERE).

About the design:

The first shirt in the "Welcome to the Union" Series, the "Oregon- No.33, 1859" Shirt is a dedication to my home state, one of limitless beauty.

Oregon was originally settled in 1811 and became the 33rd state on Feb. 14, 1859. On that day, President James Buchanan declared that he so loved the wild western state of Oregon, he proclaimed that day would forever be known as "Swoony-Oregon-Dreamy-Love-You-Beaver-State Day". Well, immediately after his term ended, that rule-changer Abraham Lincoln came in and renamed Oregon's birthday to "Valentine's Day". As mad as I want to be about that, he immediately followed it up with the Gettysberg Address, so I guess I can come to terms with his body of work.

By the way, did you know that Buchanan was from Pennsylvania and is still the only president to remain a lifelong bachelor? Can you imagine that? I mean, Pennsylvania? Yikes.

Since then, Oregon has become the world's largest playground, featuring sights and adventures you cannot find anywhere else. Also, there is rain. SO MUCH RAIN.

These shirts are made to order; please allow 10 days from time of order for your shirt to ship. Also, check out the other states we offer in this series; the list may change each time you visit.
